Meet the Team

An energetic entrepreneur who brings people together, builds strong relationships, and knows how to make business happen.

Burak B. Gülmen, born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne, comes from a family of entrepreneurs in multiple sectors both in the North East and Türkiye. After his initial degree in International Relations and Politics, Burak completed his studies at the University of Newcastle, obtaining a Master’s degree in MSc Digital Business & E-Marketing.

As the founder of Stone Meadow Trade Consultancy, Burak is committed to building strong commercial links between Türkiye and the United Kingdom. His dual cultural background, bilingual skills and wide sector knowledge allow him to guide clients with confidence and clarity.
Formerly the youth chairman of Newcastle Turkish Centre and the founding chairman of Northumbria Turkish Society, Burak remains actively involved in supporting younger generations in their academic and professional lives. He is also a member of MÜSİAD UK’s Newcastle branch and the North East Chamber of Commerce, whilst working very closely with the British Chamber of Commerce in Turkey, to promote and strengthen Turkish business within the region and beyond.
